Viana Cosmetics is proud to continue its partnership with the Vocational Training Authority (VTA) of Sri Lanka, supporting the growth of skilled beauty professionals across the country. What began as a product and training collaboration has evolved into a long-term commitment to education, employment, and empowerment in the beauty industry.

Through this partnership, Viana provides professional-grade makeup products to VTA centers across Sri Lanka, ensuring that students are trained using products aligned with real market standards. In addition, our technical team conducts product knowledge and application training sessions for students, supporting them with up-to-date, industry-relevant learning experiences in beauty culture and personal care.

For many trainees, especially young women and youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, beauty culture is more than a subject; it is a pathway to financial independence and entrepreneurship. A recognised qualification in beauty can lead to multiple opportunities: starting a home-based salon, joining an established beauty brand, or building a personal clientele. By supporting VTA, Viana is directly contributing to this journey from classroom to career.

This collaboration is a meaningful part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework. As a responsible Sri Lankan beauty brand, we believe our role goes beyond offering products on shelves. We are committed to:

  • Uplifting vocational education in beauty and personal care
  • Promoting safe, hygienic and professional practices in salons
  • Encouraging self-employment and small business development, especially among women
  • Supporting a skilled and future-ready workforce in the beauty sector

Aligned with our focus on local manufacturing and quality-led growth, this partnership also supports a more sustainable ecosystem within the Sri Lankan cosmetics industry. By strengthening capabilities locally in both products and people we help create lasting value that benefits communities, institutions, and the wider economy.

As we continue our journey with the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, Viana remains committed to being more than a cosmetics b
